As you may now be aware, your telecommunications Service Provider MITEL/Inter-Tel recently decommissioned its Direct Office in Salt Lake. Not to worry! We have made arrangements directly with the factory (and leasing company where applicable) to assume service and support for any and all of your Telecommunications needs.

For this reason we are writing to welcome you to ProTel NetWorks. Rest assured, you are in good hands. Average tenure here in the operations department is over eight years. The technical staff is certified at the highest levels on all MITEL/Inter-Tel products. ProTel, for the past 25 years, has built a solid foundation on the MITEL/Inter-Tel platform. Allow me to give you a brief history.

ProTel NetWorks is Utah's largest and oldest Exclusive Platinum Level MITEL business partner. Our story began like many others. A young entrepreneur with a vision of building an enterprise based on one simple goal, to:

So, from his spacious living room in 1984 our founder and friend Dave Glissmeyer opened for business leveraging $3,000 borrowed from a credit card. Sound like a familiar story? Today, our CEO John Chase continues with this tradition of service assisted on a part time basis by Mr. Glissmeyer who now works on special projects for our organization.

No doubt, telecommunications is a tough business, wrought with fierce competitors and constant change. Today, with an average of 30 employees, ProTel NetWorks services over 3000 Clients most of whom can be found throughout Utah and along the Wasatch Front. Our success can be attributed to never losing sight of our founding principles.

I joined ProTel 14 years ago and have enjoyed growing with the company and keeping up with the speed of change in this industry. Prior to joining ProTel NetWorks I was a Data systems technician with the United States Navy based out of San Diego California and spent a few years aboard ship in the in the Persian Gulf during the 1st gulf war where I met my wife Lisa who was also a technician in the US Navy.
