I am a local Utah native, born in SLC to Roy and Ann Glissmeyer in 1952. I currently have dual residence in Salt Lake City and St. George, UT. (Yes, I'm a golf nut and you can't play golf in the snow during the winter at the Salt Lake Country Club!).

My lovely wife Tiffany and I share a blessed life with our darling "dogter," Gracie (the yorkie pup), Thurston the love bird, Cleo the singing budgie and five salt water fish named, Bunny, Angel, Tiger, Spot, Clowny, Purplehead and our cleaner shrimp named Boots.

We like to travel a bit but have become more homebound as of late in caring for all of our beloved animal friends.

My son Frank Glissmeyer, from a previous marriage, lives in North Salt Lake and is working hard to begin a career in law enforcement.

I attended school locally and enjoyed a successful career in the auto industry prior to joining Intermountain Telephone in 1981.

In 1984, seeing an opportunity to open the Utah market for an emerging communications platform maker, Inter-Tel, I started ProTel NetWorks with $3000.00 borrowed off a credit card. Within 4 years ProTel had cracked the Inter-Tel prestigious Top Ten Dealer Award program by implementing an aggressive marketing program with its primary focus of delivering to the customer "more than what they paid for."

Under Dave's guidance ProTel has consistently been one of a handful of dealers who have placed millions of dollars worth of solutions-based systems year in and year out for Inter-Tel.

The next project on the horizon is opening up a physical branch office in Southern Utah during 2008 to better service the growing number of ProTel customers in St. George, Cedar City and all points in between.
