PRESIDENT OF PROTEL RELOCATES TO REDDER PASTURES

Founder Hands Reins to Long-Time Employee

Salt Lake City, UT. - March 13, 2008 - ProTel, a local provider of business communication solutions, passes ownership and executive control to Mr. John Chase, an employee of nearly 14 years. John has earned his stripes through dedication and hard work with the 24-year-old Salt Lake telecommunications corporation. The founder, G. David Glissmeyer, will be concentrating his efforts on establishing an office in Southern Utah and in working on special projects; he is still available at his regular extension.

Dave and the new president recognize the expansion into the Southern half of Utah and Nevada as integral to the company's service motto - to give the customers "more than what they paid for."

"Customers have come to me looking for our high level of service down South," recalls Dave Glissmeyer, "I want to be able to locally support our growing number of customers in St. George, Cedar City, and other Southern Utah communities." Dave adds that, "You can even sneak out for a round of golf or two during the winter."

Under Dave's guidance, ProTel has consistently been one of a handful of dealers who have placed millions of dollars worth of solutions-based systems, year-in and year-out, for Inter-Tel.

ProTel currently has over 30 employee/owners. "The company has steadily grown over time and we pride ourselves on providing high-quality service and impressive response for office phone systems. At ProTel, the employees act as owners of this company. That I can take over from what has been built to this point is one testament to that fact," says John Chase, ProTel's new President and CEO.

John was hired by Dave in 1994 just out of the U.S. Navy, and the Gulf War, as a Service Technician. He has extensive administration experience and has been committed to providing expert service at ProTel.

"ProTel has grown under his direction as Service Manager. John has proven himself, time and again, as a great choice to become the new owner and president of the company," declares Dave Glissmeyer.

ABOUT PROTEL

In 1984, seeing an opportunity to open the Utah market for an emerging communications platform maker, Inter-Tel, Dave Glissmeyer started ProTel NetWorks with $3000.00 borrowed off a credit card.

At that time, not many could have foreseen the broad range of changes the telecommunications industry was about to go through. ProTel continues to ride the wave and stands strong in its industry.

ProTel's business is concentrated around providing quality service for customers and utilizing the latest VoIP and digital technology to make communicating easier. It is still one of the few independent business phone system providers employing its own engineers to bring affordable, custom solutions to its clients.

As a member of LocalFirstUtah, ProTel supports the efforts people around the country are making to buy local and buy green. ProTel solutions can help to allow employees and business owners to work remotely efficiently and effectively, saving gas, energy, and business costs.

ProTel will continue to carry out efforts to improve our local communities. The company works with and donates time and equipment to many local and state government entities, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations. That tradition will continue and expand as the company grows under John Chase's leadership.

The company's endeavors in providing high-quality, professional service are going to expand in the coming months with the great new technology and partnerships being provided by Samsung, Mitel, Microsoft, and Sun.
